Pregnant woman

Origin South India?

This female figure stands on slightly bent legs. She is (probably) holding fruit at chest level and her belly is protruding. She is wearing jewellery and is otherwise naked, her vulva being visible. Her facial features are reminiscent of South Indian artwork. Although she is not identified, the signs of her pregnancy, her nudity and the fruits in her hands evoke the theme of fertility.
