The Pancaraksa or “Five Protectresses” consist of Mahamantranusarini – “Conforming to Mantra”, Mahamayuri – “Great Peacock Lady”; Mahapratisara – “Great Follower”, Mahasahasrapramardani – “Destroyer of Thousandfold Worldsystems”, and Mahasitavati – “Lady of Cool Grove”.
