(Tib.: gShin rje gshed dmar po) («shinjeshe marpo»)

A red form of Yamantaka (Tib.: gShin rje gshed) («shinjeshe»), one of the tantric manifestations of Manjusri (Tib.: ’Jam dpal) («jampal»). Rakta-Yamåri is trampling with the right foot the prostrate body of Yama (Tib.: gShin rje) («shinje»), symbolising the victory over the Brahmanical god of death who is shown lying on the neck of a buffalo.
