Hollow cast in two parts.
The separately cast nimbus is lost.
The borders of the lower garment in front are inlaid with silver thread and some ornaments of the pedestal are inlaid with copper.
The borders of garments are decorated with linear engraved ornaments.
The face has no traces of painted gold but the hat has remain of black pigment.
The bottom of the pedestal is sealed with a gilt copper plate decorated with the visvavajra emblem.
The unidentified monk with facial expressions of a portait like character is seated in the diamond attitude (vajraparyankasana) on double lotus placed upon a graded pedestal decorated in front with a wheel (cacra) emblem. He rests the left hand in the lap and displays with the right hand the gesture of touching the earth (bhumisparsa-mudra). The monk is clad with a voluminous array of monastic garments (tricivara) and wears a hat fashioned of hair (?)
